When we asked Elizabeth and James where they’d like to have their engagement shoot, they decided to go back to the place where they first met – Great Walstead School. It was a great choice, giving them a choice of settings to tell their story in such a charming way. A perfect setting for this West Sussex engagement shoot.
We started by walking down to the woods in search of bluebells, stopping by a pretty gate on the way. We were soon rewarded with a beautiful carpet of bluebells and snowdrops stretching out beyond us. We were very careful to find little clearings where we could settle in for a few lovely shots.
We then walked back up to the main part of the school for some shots on the field and around the obstacle course. The climbing frame was a particular favourite. Elizabeth showed us her gymnastic skills and James showed some skill with the cricket bat. We finished with a few shots of James’ beloved (ahem) car and plenty of laughs in the warm sunshine.
