Claire and Andy couldn’t have picked a better day for their Wandsworth Common engagement shoot. 21st of June – officially the 1st day of summer and, to our surprise, the weather was very kind to us. The Common was filled with different hues of green – very picturesque. We were also spoiled with fields strewn with daisies and carpets of buttercups – the perfect accompaniment to some summer love and Claire’s engagement ring! It’s like they were made to be photographed together. However, one of us *may* have sat on a thistle whilst looking for that perfect angle. No need to say who!
Claire and Andy will be married next year in Box Hill and we can’t wait to work with them again. We hope you enjoy their images.
Wandsworth Common is an important historic common, the remains of more extensive commonland that was part of the wastes of the Manors of Battersea and Wandsworth.
The 4-star Burford Bridge hotel is close to Box Hill and the Mole River. Mercure Box Hill Burford Bridge hotel has scenic gardens and views of the surrounding countryside.
